Dental Implants

If you are interested in replacing a missing tooth, there are many options available. Dental implants are increasingly becoming the cornerstone of replacing lost teeth. A dental implant can be used to replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or can be used to hold a denture in place.  A dental implant involves placing a prosthesis in the bone that interfaces to support a single crown, bridge, or denture. Receiving a dental implant has 2 major stages, the first being surgical placement of the implant into the bone performed by an oral surgeon.  After a period of healing, you will return to our office for impressions to fabricate the crown(s), bridge, or denture that will be placed on the implant(s). The impressions will be sent to a laboratory where the crowns or denture are fabricated and you will return to our office for delivery of the finished product. Dr. Stout and his staff work closely with multiple talented oral surgeons in the local area to coordinate the surgical placement of implants.
