Dental Hygiene
Regular visits with our dental hygienist are imperative to maintaining healthy teeth and gums. During your hygiene visits we will provide a full evaluation of your periodontal health. Our dentists and hygienist are prepared to provide cleanings for our pediatric and adult patients. We are also able to provide and make recommendations for periodontal therapy to aide in the management of gum disease. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentists recommends that your child see a dentist by age one or within 6 months after the first tooth erupts.
X-Rays
Our facility is up to date with the latest technology for digital imaging. We will recommend the appropriate x-rays based on each patient's case and needs. X-rays allow us to detect decay, especially in places like between the teeth which can be difficult to detect based on the exam alone. We will conduct a full radiographic exam to visualize the teeth and surrounding bone structures.
Exams
At your initial visit to our office we would like to take the time to get to know you and any concerns you may have. We will start with collecting a health history and the appropriate x-rays will be recommended in order to provide a full examination of your oral health. Our dentists will provide a thorough exam of your gums, teeth, temporomandibular joints, and will perform an oral cancer screening. A treatment plan and recommendations for maintaining your oral health will be presented and discussed. We will provide you with ample time to ask any questions you may have.
